Ink and watercolor on paper

Today I am sharing a work in progress — this is the first snapshot of a new watercolor and ink painting. It may look familiar from the studies I painted about a week ago. The painting is a composition of grass, leaves, and twigs with very high contrast to accentuate the lines. More to come tomorrow, but in the meantime, I’d also like to share a pastel figure drawing from 2008. Have a good weekend!
