Felt a bit off this weekend — so I’ve posted older works in watercolor that relate in medium and theme to some of the new work that I’m exploring. I’ve also started a new series of videos, or at least preparations and planning. I’d like to post, again, my newest video Distances. Enjoy!

Happy Mardi Gras! Wishing I was back in New Orleans to celebrate… but I can celebrate this painting now that it is finished. If you’re following along, I did go back through with watercolor to reduce the sheen of the ink. I left the ink’s glossy finish to create more depth in some areas, but it’s not evident through the photograph. I think it turned out well and I’m looking forward to the next project. All that’s left to do is frame it, and go eat a donut for Mardi Gras. Enjoy!
