Continuing with a theme of natural patterns, today’s painting is of a leaf skeleton. I absolutely love leaf skeletons. They seem fragile, or delicate, but provide a complex network of veins that once sustained the leaf–not to mention I think the patterns are also fascinating. I am planning to submit the small works for upcoming open calls, so there be a few more circular or small works in the near future!
